Carrick Rovers 1-1 Newtown

Newtown were the visitors to the Shercock Road on Saturday morning. The game started evenly enough and the strong cross breeze made it difficult for both teams to play an attractive style of football.

Kells Blackwater 1-2 Carrick Rovers

Carrick Rovers U16’s were out in the first round of the HSE Cup on Saturday last against Premier Division side Kells Blackwater, Rovers who are flying high at the top of the First Division knew that it was going to be a battle against the Premier side and that was exactly what it was on a wet and windy Saturday morning.

"Sexy Football"

Rovers continued in their quest to rescue a season which has been somewhat disappointing as they comfortably overcame Square in this Reserve Cup fixture. A few of the absentees from the previous week were back on duty at Birdy Development Park in the sides first home fixture since the end of January.
