Boca Rovers 0-0 Carrick Rovers

Rovers had gone two matches without conceding a goal and were looking to continue this against Boca Rovers but it would be a tougher task than the previous two outings. Boca Rovers are still in the fight for the league title and would be looking to keep up the pressure on the league leaders.

Carrick Rovers 2-5 Rossin Rovers

Carrick’s slim hope of winning the C Reserve League were dashed by an in form Rossin Rovers side who tore through a limp team performance from Carrick to put themselves in the driving seat with their own league ambitions. Due to the clubs involvement in the FAI Junior Cup 6th round on Sunday, the game was played in Kingscourt, the surface set up the match for a good passing game but Carrick failed to produce.

Knightsbrook 0-3 Carrick Rovers

It’s nearly eight weeks since Carrick played their last league match. Carrick came through a tough away fixture against Trim outfit Knightsbrook on Saturday last in the MDL grounds, Navan, with all three points. It was a well earned win with the whole team battling to overcome the slippy conditions and coping with the Knightsbrook set piece plays so calmly.
