BJD Celtic 1-2 Carrick Rovers

Carrick Rovers continued their winning streak in the MDL Reserve C league with a solid performance against BJD Celtic of Ballyjamesduff. The game was played in driving wind and rain on BJD’s new pitch, which to their credit stood up well to the severe weather conditions.

Navan Town 1-2 Carrick Rovers

Rovers keep the pressure on neighbours with lack lustre display

On Saturday last Rovers made the trip to Navan to take on bottom of the table Navan Town in what should have been a relatively easy three points. It was probably the fact that it was top against bottom that put a lazy attitude into the Rovers minds as the home side dominated from the off.
