U12 girls

The girls had a break before the next match against Skryne Tara, one of the top teams in Meath. The first half was all pressure from Skryne which was expected. The half finished nil all. In the second half Carrick applied pressure of their own and had several good chances of a goal. Then against the run of play Skryne broke at midfield and the experience showed with a goal being scored. Carrick had only 2 minutes to score an equaliser and all their efforts were in vain. The final result was 1-0 to Skryne and as they won all their games they would go forward to the All Ireland.
Carrick 's final match was straight after Skryne against Johnstown. The girls lifted their heads and piled on the pressure on Johnstown with another goal for Kayla Sherry. Then just before half time Ceadaoin Martin ran up the left wing and scored a great individual goal. The second half was a repeat of the first with intense pressure from Carrick finally resulting in another goal for Ceadaoin.

The girls performances grow game after game with all 12 players playing and supporting each other. So we'll done girl's great display and all the best next weekend in the League.
